Michael T. Thaden

Michael T. Thaden, CFA, joined Castle Creek® in 2015; in addition to his role there, he serves as a member of the board for Golden State Bank and its parent company, Golden State Bancorp (OTCPK:GSBX). He also serves as a board observer at Hanover Bancorp, Inc.

Prior to joining Castle Creek, he worked at Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group. At Sandler, he focused on community bank advisory including mergers and acquisitions, capital planning, and capital markets transactions, completing transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of $1 billion.

Mr. Thaden holds Bachelors of Science degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
